We took Lucy to the park this weekend, and unlike last time we went, she had a great time. Now that she can walk and doesn't need us or our stupid supervision anymore, she instantly went crazy and tried to climb up every slide and staircase she could find. I think that I am, generally, a cautious person. Brian might be SLIGHTLY less cautious, but he's still not going sky-diving or bull-fighting anytime soon. Lucy has no boundaries...nothing is too much for her. There is no staircase too high or too steep, no slide too slippery to climb up the wrong way, no height too great too scoot right to the edge and hang a foot (or possibly an entire arm and leg) over. She's fearless. It's exciting and nerve-wracking and I'm pretty sure she's going to grow up to be a lion tamer or a stunt-woman or maybe even a politician (see above re: no boundaries).

GO LUCY! And what an awesome looking park. We have to come to Seattle, because Maya and Lucy would tear the place up in a fit of baby terror. They would make the newspaper.
